Education for the Soul Conference

18th October 2018, London

Back in October 2017, VBE founders Neil and Jane Hawkes were proud to be invited to be a part of the very first “Education for the Soul” Conference hosted by Integrity Coaching.

Focussing around the key themes of resilience, values and well-being, this new type of School Leadership conference sought to tackle and find meaningful solutions to the growing challenges and emotional cost of leading in education today.

On the back of its huge success, we are excited to learn that on 18th October 2018, they will once again be delving deep into the reality of School Leadership with a new “Education for the Soul” Conference with a fantastic new line-up of expert speakers and workshop hosts.

The conference will look to build on the outcomes and solutions of last year’s conference, explore how these can be brought to life in school across the country and above all, help School Leaders to create positive new narratives for themselves and those they lead.

International Day of Happiness - 20th March 2018

Action for Happiness

March 20 has been established as the annual International Day of Happiness

and all 193 United Nations member states have adopted a resolution calling for happiness to be given greater priority.

World Values Day - 20th October 2018

World Values Day logo

Values are the things that are important to us.
Values are what make us who we are. They are the compass guiding everything we do – our choices and our actions.

When we forget that compass, we take the wrong turn. It’s the same for our families, for our communities, for the world.
Our values show us the way.

World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day - 13th November 2018

Kindness Day falls on the same day and unites people in kindness globally.

Kindness Day UK is celebrated nationwide annually, 13th November.

It is a day to celebrate and promote kindness in all its forms.

International Day for Tolerance - 16th November 2018

Tolerance isn’t necessary if we are in agreement.
We are allowed to disagree, but it is the manner and attitude with which we express our views which is important.UN logo World Tolerance Day
Tolerance is a term often used interchangeably with ‘celebrating diversity’, and whilst both terms complement each other, ‘tolerance’ is the only concept that gets to the heart of the really difficult work in educating young people on how to address people, practices and perspectives that they do not understand or do not agree with.
